At 19:15 on August 24,at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China,with a violent roar,the upper stage of the Long March 2C carrier rocket/expedition 1s lifted three communication technology test satellites into the sky in the form of"one arrow,three stars".The satellite then entered the predetermined orbit,and the launch mission was a complete success.The Long March 2C carrier rocket,which undertakes the launch mission,is a normal temperature liquid carrier rocket developed by the first Academy of Aerospace Science and technology group,which is mainly used to launch low earth orbit and solar synchronous orbit satellites.In this mission,the Long March 2C carrier rocket adopts a 4.2-meter fairing for the first time in view of the large number and scale of communication satellite antennas,which gives the satellite more space and is conducive to the optimization of multi satellite launch layout;The central bearing tube is used for the first time-in the past,when satellites were connected with rockets,the bottom support structure was mostly used,while the central bearing tube realized the connection between rockets and satellites through side hanging.Using multiple central bearing tubes in series can realize multi satellite launch,reduce the risk of satellite separation,and is suitable for"one rocket,multiple satellites"launch missions.In addition,the mission development cycle of this rocket has been shortened by 40%to 50%.In the face of the tight task cycle,the chang'er-c model team made rapid progress based on the idea of"full inheritance,comprehensive analysis,test and verification of typical working conditions,development and test and flight products",which significantly reduced the development cost and shortened the development cycle while effectively controlling the technical risks.
It is reported that this year is the year of continuous high-density launch of chang'er-c rocket.While completing this task,the test team also carried out the final assembly test of the Long March II C-41 rocket and the expedition 1s-4 upper stage.After this launch mission,all test team members will put their original positions,positions and positions into the mission.
This mission is the second launch of the upper stage of the expedition-1 s and the 385th launch of the long march series of carrier rockets.

At 23:41 on August 24,the long march 3B carrier rocket was ignited and launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center,successfully launching the communication technology test satellite 7 into space,and then the satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit.The long march 3B rocket for this launch mission was developed by the first Academy of Aerospace Science and technology group.It belongs to the"gold medal rocket"Long March 3A series.It adopts the unified configuration design idea of the long march 3A series carrier rocket.The total length of the rocket in this state is 56.326 meters,and the takeoff mass of the whole rocket is about 456 tons.August is the rainy season of Xichang Satellite Launch Center.The weather forecast shows that there is rainfall almost every day,and the humidity here will reach 100%in many cases.
In view of the humid and rainy weather conditions,the launch test team strengthened the waterproof,moisture-proof and lightning protection measures for the rocket to eliminate the risk of electric leakage.For example,during the transition of the rocket,wrap moisture-proof yarn near the plug outside the rocket body to try to avoid moist air entering the plug.It is understood that the long march 3B rocket has made three major improvements in this launch.First,the precooling sequence is optimized to effectively improve the carrying capacity of the rocket;Second,the processing technology of oxygen impeller blades has been changed to improve the production efficiency;Third,the material of the guide rod of the auxiliary control valve was changed to improve the working reliability of the engine.
This year,the long 3A series rockets are expected to carry out 12 launch missions.This mission should not only withstand the test of high-density launch,but also be the"highlight"of the annual launch mission of this model.Jin Zhiqiang,the General Commander of the rocket,proposed at the mobilization work arrangement meeting that"we should complete the annual mission with one launch".The communication technology test satellite 7 was developed by the eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is mainly used to carry out communication technology test tasks.
This mission is the 77th launch of the long march 3B rocket and the 386th launch of the long march series carrier rockets.
